Having extensive leadership training and experience, Ruben has conducted leadership seminars for health professionals for over 20 years. He has also been trained by top military brass in the same program used to develop our Special Forces officers.
Coach Ruben is also an Expert Resource Speaker for Vistage International – the world’s largest CEO organization and he conducts trainings for executives and business leaders all over the country. He holds a Masters degree in Public Health from UCLA specializing in Behavioral Sciences and Health Promotion, and spent three years at UC Davis Medical School. He has over 29 years experience as a professional coach, having led many teams to championships, and having developed many national caliber athletes in swimming and water polo. Ruben also has over 10 years experience in health care administration and was the Assistant Administrator for Kaiser South Sacramento Medical Center in charge of Quality, Utilization and Licensing. Backed by his extensive leadership training, he has directed several large-scale team efforts and has brought his coaching success into the corporate healthcare setting. He has successfully coached and trained many champions in sports, health and business.
